Edward Parker was called to Nor folk, Va, Wednesday to enlist in the U. S. Navy. C, visiting Edward Bass. They found him in quarant ne with the mumps. Captain Martin Wisely, of Fort Jackson, S. C, arrived Tuesday to spend several days here during his Christmas leave of absence. Approximately 100 children took part. The operetta was pronounced a great success as was evident from the applause that was accorded the children.
